El Pueblo Lodge

Very clean and tidy rooms , bathrooms and the whole property in general. Rooms are spacious and the property has a rustic feel, does not feel like a regular hotel. Had a very comfortable stay, would definitely visit again when coming to Taos. Prices are reasonable for the area, and they provide hot coffee/hot chocolate throughout the evening. Hot breakfast is also served , which included tacos, scrambled eggs, cereal, toast etc ( and some non veg option too ). They have a hot tub to relax after a day of skiing. About 30mins drive to the skiing.

Amazing hotel. cozy rooms with a fireplace, great breakfast and really friendly staff. Front desk manager, Katherine is exceptionally nice and accommodating. It makes all the difference when you are treated nicely. Will 100% stay here next time we visit Taos.

I can’t explain how much we enjoyed our stay here last week! We checked in one evening and were offered free cookies and chips/salsa. The lady at the desk was absolutely the sweetest. Very pet friendly and lots of nice grass around for your pet. The rooms are nice and the fireplace was great! We felt as though our vehicle was safe as we had a sled on the back and nobody messed with it. The breakfast was very nice and there were lots of options. A kind lady even came to our table and offered to refill my husband’s coffee which was something we had never experienced at a continental breakfast. The cook was working so hard and was very nice. Beautiful breakfast area with a fire. This will definitely be our Taos hotel from now on!

Good location for a quick walk to the center of Taos. Older hotel, but they keep it in good shape. Our room was pretty big with a fireplace. Room also had a back door to a common yard. They have a small breakfast buffet with the usual items, plus tamales and green Chile. Would stay here again.

My friend and I had an excellent three-night stay at El Pueblo Lodge in Taos, NM. We stayed on the second floor in a two-queen room, and everything exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable, and both the room and the overall property had a charming New Mexico feel that really added to the experience. One highlight that deserves special mention is the complimentary breakfast. The spread available each morning was excellent and far better than what you typically find at similar properties. Not every room includes a wood-burning fireplace, so if that’s something you’re looking for, be sure to request one when booking—it’s definitely worth it. The outdoor hot tub is open year-round, which was a great perk, while the pool is closed during the winter months. The location is also a huge plus: close to restaurants and the main part of town, and only about 30 minutes from Taos Ski Valley, which was the main reason for our visit. I’ve stayed at several places in Taos over the years, and this has been my favorite by far. I highly recommend El Pueblo Lodge and will absolutely stay here again.

Have stayed at El Pueblo Lodge a couple of times and they exceeded expectations both times. It is a very well maintained property, great location, great service, great breakfast, etc. What impressed me the most was how much they care and do their best to be sure that it is a great experience for guests by going above and beyond. An example is that we went during a very slow time, not many guests at all, and they put huge effort into providing the same level of breakfast buffet as they would if they were full. Another example: Late one evening, we ran out of firewood and I went to the front desk to see if they had any more wood available for me to pick up. They insisted on delivering it to the room, and they promptly did so. Just a couple of examples of excellent service, which is fairly rare these days. Highly recommend!

El Pueblo Lodge is the most romantic place I've ever stayed at in Taos! The staff were so helpful in creating such a wonderful experience. We were pleasantly surprised with the abundant breakfast served! Yummy! So close to Taos Pueblo and so close to many attractions in the town of Taos. We can't say enough thank you's for adding to our experience.

We loved our stay at El Pueblo Lodge! Our room had a warm and charming Southwest décor that really fit the local atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large and well-maintained, and everything was very clean and cozy. But the real standout was the breakfast. This was far beyond your typical “free hotel breakfast.” Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared, with an impressive variety of items to choose from. Honestly, the breakfast alone makes this place worth staying at — it’s that good! A wonderful stay all around — highly recommend!
